Das Genickstück schützt das empfindliche Kiefergelenk (TMJ) des Pferdes und liegt mit einer weichen Polsterung entlang der Ohrbasis eng am Pferd an. Die Höhe des Reithalfters und der Backenstücke wird am Genick angepasst, mit festen Stoppern, die verhindern, dass die Schnallen seitlich verrutschen.
Der Sperrriemen ist abnehmbar, sodass das Zaumzeug mit dem Kauf eines zusätzlichen Paares Backenstücke in ein Kandarenzaum umgewandelt werden kann.
Das Zaumzeug ist in den Größen Cob, Full und X-Full erhältlich, und Sie können die Größe jedes Teils individuell an die Bedürfnisse Ihres Pferdes anpassen. Eine dezente schwarze OCTA-Pin befindet sich auf der linken Seite des Stirnriemens, und Sie können frei wählen, welchen Stirnriemen Sie zu diesem Zaumzeug kombinieren möchten.

The bridles are true to size, so if your horse usually wears a full, it’s likely the same size will work for this bridle as well. It’s most common to have the same size for all parts. If you know that your horse typically needs a bigger or smaller part, you can order the bridle according to what you think is best.
You always have the option to exchange one or more parts once you’ve tried the bridle at home in the stable aisle. We offer free exchanges, so you won’t need to cover return shipping costs. However, we do ask that you notify us in advance if you wish to exchange a part so that we can reserve it for you.

With our clever design, you can easily convert your bridle into a double bridle – and back again – in just seconds. This noseband is specifically designed to give you full flexibility and is perfect if you want to gradually introduce your horse to a double bridle without needing to buy an entirely new headpiece.
You also have the option to purchase additional cheek pieces, allowing your bridle to be easily converted to a double bridle whenever you wish. Our headpiece is also designed to be converted into a double bridle.

THE OCTA CONCEPT
THE BRIDLE THAT WILL CHANGE THE INDUSTRY
This noseband is our pride and forms the foundation of our OCTA CONCEPT. The name OCTA comes from "octagon," which means octagonal. If we look at the horse's head in cross-section at the jawline, we see that the horse's head has an octagonal shape, with the nose bridge forming the top. Our OCTA CONCEPT is based on the idea of creating the world’s best bridle, and for us, this means several key factors:
THE BRIDLE MUST STAY COMPLETELY STILL
One of the most important conditions for top performance is that the bridle or double bridle stays completely still on the horse’s head. While this may seem like a simple task, in practice, it is something that is rarely achieved with many bridles.
THE BUCKLES ARE CRUCIAL
The buckles on the headpiece are permanent, meaning you adjust the height of the noseband and bit by moving between holes on the straps. The actual buckle that you attach the strap to cannot be moved, so they stay fixed, which helps distribute the pressure and ensures they can never become misaligned.
UNIQUE OCTA FEATURES
THE NOSEBAND THAT GIVES SPACE FOR THE CHEEK
The noseband features a distinct octagonal design with soft padding. Its "cracked" shape means that it is already octagonal, allowing it to sit a bit looser without creating large gaps, which is common with round nosebands that tend to slip around on the horse.
At the cheek, where regular nosebands often cause pinching and other equipment-related issues by pressing against the teeth, we have designed a perfectly placed cutout. This gives the horse’s cheek more space, allowing it to bulge out without the risk of being pinched.

AS A HEADPIECE SHOULD BE
The headpiece of this bridle, like all our others, is softly padded along the ear. It features a small "tunnel" where the mane can comfortably fit, but most importantly, the headpiece includes a perfectly positioned cushion to protect the TMJ (temporomandibular joint), which, simply put, is the joint where the lower jaw attaches to the skull. It is considered the most sensitive joint in the horse’s body and can be compared to our temples.
