HOW TO MEASURE YOUR HORSE
We offer something truly unique that allows you to customize the size of each individual part of your bridle and double bridle. You know your horse best, and you’re familiar with how bridles usually fit in terms of size. Perhaps the noseband is often too large, or the browband a little too short – now, we can help you solve that.
To measure your horse for a bridle, you’ll need a soft measuring tape or a piece of string and a ruler.
MEASURE THE SIZE FOR THE NOSEBAND
Start by measuring the circumference around your horse’s nose, about two fingers below the cheekbones, to choose the right noseband size. Then, measure from one corner of the mouth to the other, over the top of the head and behind the ears.
MEASURE THE SIZE FOR THE BROWBAND
To measure the browband size, measure across your horse's forehead, between the points where the browband attaches to the bridle.
In our size guide, we’ve accounted for the bit and ensured there’s enough space between your horse’s forehead and the browband, and that the noseband won’t be too tight. So, you do NOT need to add or subtract anything from your measurements when using our guide.
