BROWN
Noseband Nr. 96 is a classic Mexican noseband with a modern twist. We have extended the noseplate and given it a soft, slightly curved shape for increased comfort. The longer noseplate distributes pressure over a wider area and directs it outward to the sides, providing a clear yet gentle effect.
The noseband is fully padded and sits softly over the cheekbones without causing rubbing. It extends far enough back on the sides to stay clear of the horse’s eyes. The strap under the bit is convex and rests gently around the bit without pushing it up into the mouth.
A Mexican noseband can be either mild or more pronounced depending on how it is used. This type of noseband was originally used to apply slight pressure on the horse’s nose bridge when the horse opened its mouth to avoid the bit. When positioned correctly and fastened loosely, it is one of the gentlest nosebands you can use. However, if it sits too low, it can cause the horse to bend its head inappropriately and develop a behavior where it refuses to take contact with the bit. Correct use of the noseband is therefore very important.
Our bridles and bridle parts are true to size, so we recommend ordering the size your horse normally wears. If you are unsure, you can also use our size chart.
You can always exchange a bridle part for a different size after trying the bridle at home in the stable. Always try it on a clean horse and while in the stable. Please note that you are not allowed to ride in the bridle and then request an exchange. We offer free exchanges on our regular range. During promotions, such as final sales, exchanges are still possible, but the customer will cover any additional shipping costs.

Noseband – English
The English noseband is a favorite among both riders and horses. With our unique OCTA design, it combines sleek style with a function that provides optimal comfort for your horse. Thanks to a clever cutout near the cheek teeth, the noseband avoids pressure on the horse’s cheeks, and its naturally bent shape ensures it stays securely in place.
The noseband fits all horses but is particularly appreciated by horses with mouth or dental issues, where it is important to leave as much space as possible in the mouth. Available in cob, full, and x-full sizes.
Noseband – Mexican
Our Mexican noseband has a modern take on the classic design. With clever design features, the noseband stays perfectly in place. The front plate of the nose features our unique “slightly bent” shape and a soft padding on the inside at the nasal bridge. You get a gentle yet effective influence thanks to the length of the plate and the straps lying along the sides of the nasal bridge instead of crossing over the nose.
The Mexican noseband is suitable for both jumping and flatwork, but is especially ideal for the cross-country phase in eventing as it keeps the airways completely free. The noseband is available in sizes cob, full, and X-full.
Dropped noseband
Our dropped noseband is specially designed for young horses that need help stabilizing the bit in a gentle yet clear way. The noseband is fully padded and features our unique “slightly bent” shape with a soft padding on the inside at the nasal bridge, ensuring it stays perfectly in place during the ride.
This noseband is particularly suitable for horses with mouth or dental issues, where it is important to avoid pressure inside the mouth. The dropped noseband is also perfect for riders who frequently switch between different nosebands and bits to vary training and riding. Available in cob, full, and x-full sizes.
